    Swing Trade Idea

    By Sean Hyman | March 30, 2009

Swing trades typically take place over days to a week.

Take a look at EUR/USD long and USD/CHF short. They both look ready to reverse on dollar weakness. Remember, that you can earn a slight amount of daily rollover at 5pm EST each day that you are in EUR/USD long…but you would pay a bit to be short USD/CHF. So keep that in mind.

During intraday trading, that typically doesn’t matter as much…but in swing trades it adds up as you swing trade throughout the year.
